pet-nats and party wines or classic chardonnay and riesling? low alcohol qwaffable reds or big, bold and baller? does any of it matter as long as your favourite Instagram user likes it? for our final chat of the year we talked about trends in the wine world, and how they shape what we drink and how we drink it.
this time last year we started this conversation, and we thought what better way to wrap up this year than to see what’s changed and how, and look ahead to what we might be drinking in the future. we’ve talked about a lot this year – natural wine, tassie wine, climate change and aussie spirits – how do these aspects play a part in the greater big, bad wine world?

Jordy Kay - the original ‘cool wine guy’, it would have been rude not to have Jordy on the panel for this chat. Makes wines under the Chevre label, and has worked everywhere from Austria and Portugal to Tasmania and the Yarra Valley. Know’s what’s cool.

Kayleen Reynolds - Some say she is the queen of the wine wall at City Wine Shop, we know her as a writer of lists, buyer of wine and lover of Chardonnay. Kayleen works on the front lines and definitely knows what’s cool.
Kate McIntyre MW - Aside from teaching WSET on the Mornington Peninsula AND being one of the showrunners at Moorooduc Estate AND being the first MW we’ve ever had on our little panel, Kate also happens to just be a bloody legend, and not only know’s what’s cool, but why.
